GMAIL Dot/period (.) Trick

What is the Gmail DOT Trick ? AndSee the following example
Suppose There is a Gmail account : example@gmail.com
with password : 123456
You will get logged in to example@gmail.com

If you use

email as : e.xample@gmail.com
password : 123456
email as : ex.ample@gmail.com
password : 123456
email as : exa.mple@gmail.com
password : 123456
email as : exam.ple@gmail.com
password : 123456
email as : examp.le@gmail.com
password : 123456
and so on.. That means gmail doesnot count dots at your username (.)
